2025 PaRADigm Keynote: Advancing Health for Patients, Communities, and the Planet REGISTER NOW >>
Radiology continues to serve as the central hub for healthcare, with almost every patient having experienced our innovative services. During this coming decade of financial constraints, staffing shortages, and rapid technological change, we can expand our role in advancing patient health, health equity, and community well-being, while achieving environmental sustainability.
This keynote will highlight how radiology can address the unique needs of both patients and the workforce, in light of the significant demographic shifts currently happening in our communities. Dr. Omary and Dr. Spottswood will provide strategies for meeting these needs, based, in part, on the work done at our institution to diversify the workforce and to measure the impact of inclusivity. They will discuss the importance of ensuring that services and innovations are accessible to all, especially the most vulnerable and those who live in imaging deserts. Additionally, they'll explore how embracing eco-friendly technologies and practices can lead to better health outcomes with a smaller ecological footprint. Finally, the speakers will demonstrate how radiologists can become a trusted source for leadership within health systems and in our increasingly diverse communities. By uniting these goals, radiology can become a powerful force for change, enhancing lives, and protecting future generations.
