Radiology Business Management Association partners with MedLearn to offer online radiology coding education
IRVINE, CA (March 12, 2004)-The Radiology Business Management Association (RBMA) and MedLearn have partnered to offer online continuing education towards radiology coding certification. For each "read-and-test" set they successfully complete, participants earn one continuing education unit (CEU). Upon completing the entire series, they receive the 12 CEUs required for Radiology Coding Certification (RCC) recertification.
The Radiology Coding Certification Board was established to improve professional development of radiology coders, identify a body of knowledge and skills necessary to the profession, and recognize those individuals who demonstrate a level of excellence through the certification exam. In order to remain current in the industry, RCCs are required to become recertified by accumulating 12 continuing education units every two years.
Available at
www.medlearn.com, radiology coding professionals can access 12 articles and tests, each related to a key facet of radiology coding. Articles are read and tests are taken online. Results are distributed instantly.
