MECA
Members Exchange Community Alliance - a small group of 10-12 non-competitive peers with common challenges and goals. These groups meet twice a year to discuss topics relevant to their practices.
Member Mentor Program
The Member Mentor Program facilitates practices in need of an expert in the field, or assigns a seasoned manager willing to assist a practice with current challenges.
EDUCATION
Pre-Conference Seminars
Held in conjunction with the two annual conferences RBMA presents intensive pre-conference seminars addressing in-depth topics such as Billing Service, Business Administration, Coding HIPAA and Compliance, Imaging Centers, Marketing, Operations and others.
RBMA Radiology Summit and Fall Educational Conference
Conferences with a full exhibit hall held twice a year-spring and fall- feature extensive, in-depth effective educational sessions focused on the business of radiology as well as networking opportunities.
Specialty Seminars
RBMA offers a host of special interest seminars throughout the year. These topics include Coding, Billing Services, Marketing, Imaging Centers, Leadership, and other specific issues that are addressed in an intensive workshop format.
Continuing Education Program
RBMA offers its own continuing education programs to all members. Members may enroll in the program and earn RBMA course-approved hours at all annual, regional, state, and affiliate meetings and other approved radiology courses. Course hours may also be earned by listening to audio tapes of RBMA educational sessions. Certificates are awarded at specific levels and recipients are acknowledged at the RBMA annual conference and in the RBMA Bulletin.
Category 1 CME
Many of RBMA courses are approved through the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR) to qualify for Category 1 CMEs.
Category A CE
Many of RBMA courses are approved through the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) to qualify for Category A CEs for radiological technologists.

Allied Organizations
RBMA has designated liaisons to allied organizations such as ACR, SIR, AFROC, AHRA, HFMA and MGMA. These liaisons represent RBMA at meetings and work to continue communication and inter-organizational participation, addressing radiology practice issues and concerns.

The RBMA Bulletin
Published 6 times per year, the
RBMA Bulletin contains articles on various topics such as health care reform, the future of radiology, all aspects of practice and personnel management, imaging centers, radiation oncology, legislative updates, and academic practice issues.
RBMA Bulletin archives are available online.
Surveys
RBMA compiles data annually and publishes survey results for accounts receivables, imaging centers and salaries. Survey results provide useful information for practice managers to benchmark their operations and discover areas to improve.
HIPAA Workbook for Privacy and Security
A tool very office should have. This manual is the guide for HIPAA compliancy designed specifically for radiology. Includes forms for policy, procedure, consent and authorization.
Imaging Center Policy & Procedure Manual
A reference guide for freestanding imaging centers. Includes personnel policies daily operational policies and procedures, scheduling, basic billing and specific radiology policies and procedures as well as sample requisition and consent forms.
RBMA Compliance Toolkit
