Debbie Schardt, RN, CPUR is a Senior Consultant-Denial Management/Revenue Recovery Specialist at Medical Learning Inc., who has over 18 years of healthcare experience in a variety of settings including payment denial management from both the payer and provider perspective. She is a nationally recognized speaker, consultant and author on healthcare denial management and revenue recovery. At MedLearn, Ms. Schardt performs comprehensive assessments for providers to help identify hidden areas of opportunity and help maximize denied revenue recovery. She assists clients to eliminate weaknesses; build upon existing practices and facilitates the implementation of best practices in denial management through education and process redesign. In addition to consulting, she presents educational seminars and develops content for MedLearn publications.
