Walter C. Blackham, MS, RCC
Mr. Blackham is currently the president and CEO of Specialty Medical Services, Inc. and the administrator for Drs. Russell, Berkebile & Associates, Inc. He is also principal of Radiology Coding Consultants, Inc.
Mr. Blackham has served as the chair of the RBMA Coding Committee. He was a contributor to the Society of Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology's Interventional Radiology Coding User's Guide. Mr. Blackham is very active in providing the RBMA membership with assistance on coding issues and has spoken on all aspects of CPT radiology coding at numerous seminars.
Mr. Blackham holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Ohio State University and an Master of Science degree in radiological sciences from the University of Cincinnati, and has done additional post-graduate work in the Executive MBA program at Kent State University. He was a registered radiologic technologist in diagnostic radiology for more than 30 years.
