Radiology Business Management Association (RBMA) is committed to offering education, networking opportunities and management resources to assist members to effectively manage the business of radiology.
RBMA seeks individuals interested in presenting a topic applicable to the business of radiology. RBMA requests your assistance in offering high-quality educational programming. We are currently accepting proposals for the following conferences:

RBMA eSeminar - 90 minute live program, presented either as a webinar or webcast, scheduled periodically throughout the year
RBMA sessions are noncommercial forums. Speakers must refrain from the use of brand names and specific product endorsement.
CME Guidelines require that presentation(s) be free of commercial bias and cannot by nature of the content or format of the educational materials advance the proprietary interests of any commercial interest. Session handouts and audiovisual materials used during presentations shall not include any company or organization logo. Speakers' own company name may be on the title slide.
Speaker agrees that content presented by the Speaker shall not infringe or violate any copyright, trademark patent or intellectual property rights of any person or entity.
Please complete a separate Call for Speakers submission for each session you are proposing. A maximum of five (5) submissions will be considered for each speaker. Speakers should be available to present at any time during the conference for which they submit a proposal. Incomplete, late, or incorrectly submitted proposals will not be considered.

Session Length General and concurrent sessions may be presented in increments of 60, 90, or 120 minutes. Please indicate the optimal time needed for presenting your material. Remember to allow 10-15 minutes for audience Q & A.
Speakers, Co-Speakers, and Panelists Each Call for Speakers Proposal must be completed by the primary speaker. While co-speakers are welcome and provide additional perspectives, no more than three (3) speakers are allowed. RBMA will address all correspondence to the primary speaker only. Please note: The individual completing the Call for Speakers submission shall be identified as the primary speaker for the duration of the event. Any modification of speakers is subject to the review and approval of the RBMA.

Session Description Submit an 80-90 word description of your presentation with sufficient detail to evaluate the content and assess the level of interest for attendees. Session levels are evaluated with respect to attendees as follows: Basic: 1 to 2 years experience. Intermediate: 3 to 7 years experience. Advanced: 8 plus years experience. Executive: Executive level material. This presentation can be modified for any audience.
Learning Objectives of Session List the three items that participants will be able to do at the end of the session. These Learning Objectives should take the form of "You will learn to..." followed by at least three bulleted items that attendees will learn.

Speaker Compensation Categories Please let us know which (choose one) of the following categories you are requesting for compensation.
In-Kind Sponsor: Any RBMA member, employee of an RBMA member or exhibitor, OR individuals who are consultants, regardless of RBMA membership status, who are speaking on a topic related directly to their business are recognized through in-kind sponsorship. The speaker receives complimentary meeting registration and the company is acknowledged as an in-kind sponsor.
Honorarium: Members, non-members, exhibitors and their employees, and consultants. Compensation is comprised of: $500 per session topic 60 or 90 minute session (session may be repeated once at no additional compensation). The speaker also receives a complimentary meeting registration.
Travel Expenses: Members, non-members, exhibitors and their employees, and consultants. Compensation is comprised of: complimentary registration fee, lowest round trip coach airfare from speaker’s home airport, $100 towards expenses and one night’s hotel accommodations for each day speaking. RBMA may consider and additional night of lodging based on geographic distance from meeting.

The Process Submissions are reviewed based on the following criteria:
Audio and Video Recording By submitting a Call for Speakers proposal, speakers agree to allow RBMA to audio and/or video record the presentation. Recordings, if made, will be available for sale on-site and after the event. Speakers will receive a one complimentary copy of their session’s recording shortly after the event.
Handouts RBMA meeting attendees place great value and importance on receiving handouts that match, as closely as possible, the presentation on the day of session. You will be required to provide copies of your handouts via e-mail no later than 30 days prior to the meeting. RBMA does not provide remuneration in any way for the expenses incurred by a speaker related to session handouts (i.e. slide or transparency production.)
Current Curriculum Vitae/Resume Curriculum Vitae/Resume should contain the following information: Work history experience relevant to the topic being proposed; chronological education history listing degrees received; list of previous speaking engagements; list of publications speaker has authored that are relevant to the topic. Originality and Copyrights I certify that my submitted presentation is an original work and has no prior ownership or copyright restrictions. I give RBMA authority to reproduce and publish my handout in their conference program, website, and proceedings of the meeting. If any other individual or organization asks for or receives copyright privileges for this work, I will promptly notify RBMA.
By submitting a Call for Speakers proposal, Speaker acknowledges that he/she has both read and understands the information above and agrees to comply with RBMA’s policies and procedures. Failure to do so shall be considered a breach of the Speaker Agreement and can result in revocation of future speaking privileges.
