This one-day seminar will focus on a variety of subjects and “hot issues” relevant to imaging centers. Session speakers will include various experts in the field who will lecture on the following topics: PACS, Imaging Informatics, impacts of the DRA, peer review and accreditation, imaging center metrics, and the development of an imaging center specific business plan. Anyone involved in the management or day-to-day business of an imaging center should plan to attend!

Basics for New Radiology Managers*

Various RBMA faculty will speak at this one-day session providing an intensive overview of the basics of radiology business management. This program is designed specifically for those individuals new to the field who need to learn some of the fundamentals of radiology business management, or those who have some experience in the field but would like to revisit the basics in a classroom setting. Topics include: introduction to budgeting and development of a business plan, understanding the revenue cycle, an introduction to payor contracts, radiology medical terminology, and an overview of regulatory and compliance elements that impact the field of radiology.

Workshop: Forecasting and Developing a Five-Year Financial Strategic Plan*

This informative workshop is designed for the manager who is responsible for the financial success of the organization. This interactive pre-conference session requires attendees to bring their laptops and current financial statements in order to develop a five-year financial strategic plan that allows the user to easily change key variables:
- Reimbursement Rates
- Number of Radiologists
- Productivity
- Staffing Wage Increases
Laptops will not be provided by speaker or RBMA. Attendees will be provided with financial software that can be customized to the needs of a particular practice.
