Cindy Pittmon began working as a radiology administrator more than twenty years ago. After completing her business degree at LeTourneau University in 1993, Cindy formed her own billing company, Specialty Group Services (SGS), specializing in radiology practice management. She led the development of the Radiology Coding Certification Board (RCCB) and was honored to serve as the first President of the RCC Board of Directors completing her term on the Board in 2006.

Alicia Vasquez is the practice administrator for Arcadia Radiology Medical Group (ARMG), an almost 50-year old company in Arcadia, California. ARMG is currently a nine physician practice contracted with three hospitals as well as their own multi-modality imaging center.
She has been in radiology for 30 years, is a licensed radiologic technologist with advanced certification in CT and MRI.

Barbara F. Rubel currently serves as vice president, marketing for MSN, providing business development and client support services for MSN clients. She holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Marketing from Mercer University Atlanta, as well as a Master of Music from Ohio University. Prior to joining the MSN team, Ms. Rubel provided health care marketing services to sole physician practitioners, physician groups, and specialty physician networks as contract negotiator, strategic planner, and marketing consultant.

Worth M. Saunders serves as chief administrative officer for Mid-South Imaging & Therapeutics, PA., a large sub-specialized radiology practice based in Memphis, Tennessee. He has over fifteen years of experience in physician practice management, imaging center operations management and new business development.  Prior to joining Mid-South Imaging, he was the Regional Vice President of Operations – Central Region at Radiologix, Inc. (now part of Radnet), a publicly traded radiology services company based in Dallas, Texas. Mr. Saunders received his Master of Health Administration (MHA) degree from the Medical College of Virginia and a Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Virginia. In addition, he is active in the RBMA and currently serves as Chair of the Payor Relations Committee.

Joseph Serio has twenty-eight years of hospital and physician group practice management experience. Currently, he is executive director of Radiology of Huntsville, P.C., of Huntsville, Alabama. He served on the RBMA Board of Directors as Southern Director in 2002-2003. He has been a speaker at RBMA seminars and was on the RBMA Education Committee. Mr. Serio is a past-President of the MGMA Radiology Assembly.

Michael Bohl has nearly 29 years in radiology – 15 years as a technologist and the rest in management and administration. In prior years He has served as Secretary, President-elect, and President of the Wyoming MGMA as well as several RBMA committee and Board assignments including Mid-Western Director. He currently is on the RBMA Finance and Editorial committees.  Additionally, he has spent several years as an ACR faculty member where he spoke on the Economics of PET Imaging. Mr. Bohl’s participation in various professional associations, and particularly his membership in the RBMA, contributed greatly to his career. By supporting the RBMA as a volunteer Board member he hopes ensure the RBMA’s continued success so that others may benefit from it in the future.

Larry Buchwalter is an active member of the RBMA Federal Affairs and Payor Relations Committees.  He brings the viewpoint of a former owner and executive of one of the largest and most respected chains of diagnostic imaging centers (Nydic Medical Imaging), as well as a former member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of NCQDIS (now AQI).  Mr. Buchwalter has extensive executive and legal experience within diverse environments, with demonstrated success developing and implementing strategic initiatives and alliances that optimize operations and achieve aggressive business goals. Kevin Goodwin has been active in RBMA for the last four years since taking the leadership reins of a 28 person radiology practice in Milwauke. He has been very impressed and humbled by the quality and caliber of the members and leadership of the RBMA. The timeliness and direct application of topics at the annual summit and special conferences have had a direct impact on his ability to move his group in positive strategic directions. Mr. Goodwin comes to RBMA with a Masters of Healthcare and over 20 years of broad healthcare experience in hospitals, health systems, physician recruitment and alignment and physician practice management. He is interested in working with members and leadership of RBMA to ensure the long range development and success of RBMA.

James (Jim) Hamilton has been a healthcare administrator for 30 years specializing in radiology. He also, owned a medical billing company which was sold in 1998. Mr. Hamilton was the administrator of North Main Imaging, Inc. a freestanding radiology office practice, which was sold in 2006. Currently, he is the business manager for the 18 radiologists who work at four imaging center; the practice has contracts at three local hospitals. He has an Associate Degree in accounting from Sinclair Community College, a Bachelor Degree of Art in management of information systems from Capital University, and a MBA specializing healthcare administration from University of Phoenix. He is a Certified Medical Manager with PAHCOM.

Susan Cox began her career as a CPA in public accounting specializing in tax, contract negotiations, valuations and practice assessments for physicians and healthcare companies. After public accounting, she worked in home healthcare, physician practices management and managed care specializing in start up and turn-around situations. In 2002 Ms. Cox joined Outpatient Imaging Affiliates, an organization that partners with local radiologists and hospitals through joint ventures to develop quality service oriented outpatient imaging centers and provides management and billing services. OIA’s 14 centers are a mix of group practices and IDTF and are located in nine states.  As vice president of financial operations, Ms. Cox oversees OIA’s billing center, payer contracting and credentialing department, business office operations and accounting. She joined RBMA seven years ago and has been active on the RBMA’s data committee for the last five years.

As an active RBMA member and Chair of the RBMA’s Educational Materials & Products Committee, Kim Longeteig brings over seven years of radiology marketing and operations experience to the RBMA Board of Directors. Previously serving as the Chair of the RBMA’s Marketing Committee and as a member of the RBMA Programs Committee, she has shared in the success of establishing a marketing presence within the RBMA, the planning and execution of annual marketing conferences with consistently growing attendance and positive attendee reviews, and increasing RBMA membership with new members from the marketing field. Ms. Longeteig has been a presenter for the RBMA educational conferences on multiple occasions, been an author for the RBMA Bulletin, participated in the RBMA Strategic Planning Sessions and has consistently attended RBMA Board meetings in her Committee Chair role. She currently operates her own radiology marketing and graphic design company.

Dr. John Boyes, MD, MBA is a radiologist from Bow, Washington. He currently is the western medical director of RadMetrics, a radiology quality management company headquartered in Michigan. Previously, he was the executive director of Washington Managed Imaging (a statewide IPA with 220 radiologist members) and the physician ombudsman for Regence BlueShield. Dr. Boyes completed his medical degree at the University of Wisconsin and his radiology residency at the University of Washington. He brings to the RBMA a combination of his business acumen and widespread experience with clinical radiology and healthcare systems.

Born in Edinburgh, Scotland, Steve Collins is a British citizen who has worked in the computer and software business for many years, including some time spent marketing to Great Britain’s National Health Service. He has lived in the United States and worked in the radiology market since October 1991. His experience in radiology has included sales and marketing of practice management software and revenue cycle management services, and a period in practice operations and imaging center marketing with Diversified Radiology of Colorado, PC.  He enjoys the economics and politics of healthcare, and the constantly changing market conditions and challenges.  Mr. Collins has served on RBMA committees, and is currently president of the RBMA’s Colorado chapter.
